I'm Anya! I'm a multi-disciplinary designer based in Cincinnati. I aim to use my experience in design research and UI/UX design to create human-centered design solutions.
I'm currently enrolled in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. I’m heading towards a B.S. in Communication Design and I graduate in 2025.
I grew up and spent the majority of my life in the Bay Area in California. After I graduated high school, I decided to join a pre-design program at the University of Washington in Seattle. It was here that I was able to get a first-hand look at a variety of technical design strategies, and became introduced to my passion for layout and interface design.
In hopes of getting more internship experiences, I found intrigue in DAAP's co-op program, here in Cincinnati. Through DAAP's curriculum and my various internship experiences so far, I've found that I have a specific passion for UI/UX design and design research.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me going to local coffee shops, going on long nature walks, spending too much time looking for a new movie to watch, cycling, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, my dog, and my cat!
