Concept
Create a poster series for a science exhibition in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois. This particular science exhibition showcases the work of three renowned scientists — Claudius Ptolemy, Gladys West, and Kursat Ceylan.
Claudius Ptolemy was a mathematician best known for his geocentric model.
Gladys West is a mathematician best known for her Global Positioning System, or GPS.
Kursat Ceylan is an engineer best known for co-founding WeWalk Technology.
Typographic Exploration
I explored the possibilities of distorting the letterforms within my poster series.
Exploring Typographic Attributes
Concept Ideation
Using the ideas developed from the typographic attribute exploration, I was able to create conceptual outlines of my exhibition ideas.

Solidifying A Concept
Taking into account all the previous ideations, I was able to develop a concrete idea and color scheme for the poster series. The poster series is connected through a variety of elements: a color scheme, organization of information, and the "X" in "X Marks the Spot."
